USF Pro 2000 pole and race winner will return to the series for Canadian event
Toronto, Ontario (July 11, 2023) – Christian Brooks will once again join Turn 3 Motorsport for the next round of the USF Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Cooper Tires on the streets of Toronto this coming weekend. After kicking things off by taking the first pole and win of the season in St. Petersburg, Florida with the team, the 22-year-old USF Pro Championships veteran took a break to secure further sponsorship before making his return to the series. Now, Brooks is looking to repeat his street course success during this weekend’s doubleheader race event in Canada.

“I am pumped to get back to action with the Turn 3 Motorsport team,” said Brooks. “After our pole and win in St. Petersburg earlier this year, I’m looking to keep the street course streak alive and show what I’m capable of this weekend in Toronto.”
Brooks will drive the #44 Turn 3 Motorsport Tatuus IP-22 as a stand-in for Jackson Lee who is unable to participate in this event due to a wrist injury sustained at the previous round in Mid-Ohio.
Turn 3 Motorsport Team Owner
“It’s great to have Christian back with us this weekend in Toronto,” said Team Owner Peter Dempsey. “I’m very excited to have him drive a Turn 3 car again after our success in St. Petersburg. It’s an unfortunate situation for Jackson with his wrist injury, but this will give him time to regroup for the remainder of the season. I’m really looking forward to racing in Toronto. We’ve had a strong package here in the past, and bringing in someone with Christian’s experience is only going to add to our performance this weekend.”
The Streets of Toronto race event will take place this week, July 14-16, beginning with practice and qualifying on Friday, qualifying and Race 1 on Saturday, and Race 2 on Sunday.
